Hi, I’d like to introduce myself…

Melissa Lockwood Derbyshire Permanent Makeup Specialist

Melissa Sutton
Derbyshire Permanent Makeup
Specialist

My name is Melissa Sutton and I’m a fully qualified, insured, and licensed semi-permanent makeup artist. Calm, creative, and customer-focused, I have been in the beauty industry for over 8 years and am passionate about helping clients to feel beautiful and happy in their own skin.

A perfectionist with an eye for detail and a steady hand, I was inspired to train 1:1 with the award-winning Permanent Makeup Artist and trainer Katy Jobbins after seeing the amazing results she achieves for her clients in Sussex. Results which I can now happily offer to my own clients here in Derbyshire and beyond.

Through Derbyshire Permanent Makeup I am excited to be able to offer a unique permanent makeup service to the area, giving clients renewed confidence in their appearance without the drag of lengthy daily beauty regimes and never-ending touch-ups throughout the day.

I look forward to helping you acheive your beauty goals soon.

Melissa. xx

Permanent Makeup Pigments Vanessa Kirk Devon

HIGHEST QUALITY, SPECIALIST PERMANENT MAKEUP PIGMENTS

The colour pigments used at Derbyshire Permanent Makeup have been specifically formulated through years of research and development using only the finest grades of iron oxides and lakes. These are the same ingredients found in makeup giants Lancome, Estee Lauder, Shiseido, Truco, Guerlain, MAC, Channel and Gucci cosmetic products.

HYPOALLERGENIC & STERILE
Our pigments are all hypoallergenic and each bottle is sterile, heat sealed, tamper proof and encoded with a lot number and expiration date for your protection.

HIGH COVERAGE & LONGEVITY
As well as makeup, our pigments are also designed for concealing imperfections on burns, scares, cancer, vitiligo and cleft pallet patients. With a micron count of between six and eight, they are supremely concentrated meaning far fewer touch ups over the years.

SUITABLE FOR ALL COLOUR COMBINATIONS
Derbyshire Permanent Makeup stocks a huge range of natural permanent makeup colour pigments which are then custom blended for blondes, brunettes, redheads and clients with silver hair. There really is something for everyone!

Your Consultation & Your New Look Designs

Devon-Permanent-Makeup-Consultation-with-Vanessa-Kirk

Consultation

A free consultation is recommended to everyone at least twelve hours before any treatment, during which a patch test will be performed to ensure that you are not allergic to any of the products being used for your treatment.

The consultation is also an important opportunity for us to take the time to get to know each other and for you to ask questions and discuss your reasons for choosing permanent makeup.

Crucially, we can also determine what you hope to achieve in terms of shape and colour, ensuring that you are completely happy and comfortable with the proposed procedure.

Procedure & Anti-Allergy Patch Test

Procedure

The treatment takes two sessions to complete. After your first session your permanent makeup will look very dark and bold for up to 5 days.

This can be a shock for some people but it is completely normal and the colour will soften by up to 70% to give a natural powdered look.

After this, some people want to go darker or would like the shape tweaked a little, so a second session is usually required 4-6 weeks later.

Patch Test

All of the pigments used are hypoallergenic but a simple patch test is always carried out prior to treatment so as to be as safe as possible.

If you are travelling a long distance to your appointment, a kit can be sent to your home address along with instructions for you to carry out yourself.

Providing you have no reaction after 12 hours, your full treatment may go ahead.
